Step into April’s Norfolk studio and spend a few unhurried hours learning the art of silversmithing.
In this relaxed, hands on workshop, you’ll design and make your own sterling silver bangle from start to finish. Guided by goldsmith and jewellery designer April Dace, you’ll work with traditional tools and techniques to create a piece that feels personal, wearable, and completely your own.
Whether you keep it sleek and polished, add a hammered texture, or stamp a meaningful word, name, or date into the silver, you’ll leave with a bangle that tells a story.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop is designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and beginner friendly.
You’ll begin by measuring for your bangle, learning how to size it comfortably for your wrist. From there, April will show you how to shape the silver, forming it carefully using professional jeweller’s tools.
Once shaped, you’ll learn how to solder the join, before filing and refining the surface so everything feels smooth and balanced. From here, the creative decisions really come into play.
You might choose to keep your bangle beautifully simple with a soft polished or satin finish. Or you may decide to add texture using hammers, or stamp a message, name, or date into the silver, creating something deeply personal.
The final stage is polishing and finishing, bringing your bangle to life and giving it that satisfying final shine or texture.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a completed sterling silver bangle that feels timeless, personal, and made to be worn.
