Join Norfolk goldsmith and designer April Dace for a relaxed and personal workshop where you and your partner will design and handcraft a beautiful sterling silver ornament together – something that captures a moment or milestone that’s special to you.

Whether it’s your first Christmas together, an anniversary, the arrival of a baby, or simply time to do something creative side by side, this is a chance to pause, connect, and make memories that will last long after the decorations come down.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Over 3 hours, you’ll create one sterling silver ornament designed and made by you both.

​

You’ll start by choosing your shape from April’s Christmas designs, then learn how to cut, refine, and polish your piece by hand. Together, you’ll personalise your keepsake with stamped names, dates, or short messages – maybe the year of your first Christmas together, your initials, your home name / number or a meaningful word that represents you.

 

Once finished, you’ll thread it with a festive ribbon of your choice and place it in a luxury gift box with a silver polishing cloth and an optional handwritten tag. It’s ready to hang on your tree or to gift to someone special.

Every mark you make tells part of your story – a shared keepsake to bring out year after year, filled with memories of the day you made it.

Everything you need for a relaxed, creative morning is provided. All you have to bring is yourself and a little festive spirit. From the silver you’ll work with to the tools you’ll use, every detail has been carefully thought through to make your experience effortless and enjoyable.

I had a fantastic time at the silver ring-making class. April is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her craft, which made the entire experience both easy to follow and enjoyable. She guided us step-by-step through the process, allowing plenty of creative freedom to design something truly personal.
